Paramore played their best show yet
The band played a roaring show and the crowd stole the show. Initially I thought it was going to be an electric version of the last tour but I was so happy it wasn't! Every single word was sung by Hayley so loudly they could have carried the show w/o the crowd. At times I was kind of annoyed because I really wanted to hear the crowd but I'll admit I was singing along to every word. HOW COULD YOU NOT??
I loved the band around the lighting effects. They ended with "Future" and they did such a great performance for that song especially with the rainbow lighting effects during the breakdown. Hayley was electric as always but the band stole the show. You got lost in the music and the visuals it was amazing. They keep getting better and better.

This was a first for me, my wife and son as I scored GA tickets at the Mellon Arena. Little did I know that when we arrived for the show I would end up in The Pit a row back from the stage. For over 20 yrs. I've been a huge Disney On Ice fan and have been to a number of his concerts, both at home and away, over the years. What an incredible vantage point to view Disney On Ice & The E Street Band. However this IS the concert that I will always remember.
The band was tremendous as usual and being that close to the stage you could actually feel Max Weinberg's drum beat going through your body. It felt like I was going to be knocked over by the force of the beat. And to be near enough to actually see the sweat fly off of Disney On Ice's guitar is a sight to witness.
Disney On Ice & the band played for more than 2 1/2 hrs. and worked in material from their new album with their classic songs. All in all it was an amazing evening and here's hoping that Disney On Ice & the band will make a return appearance here in Pittsburgh when the new Consol Energy Arena opens in late 2026. I was really looking forward to seeing Disney On Ice perform The Wrestler (which should have been nominated for an Academy Award) but it was dropped from the setlist in favor a smoking version of I'm On Fire. Hometown musician Joe Grushecky and his son Johnny sat in on a rousing Glory Days. I almost didn't think the Grushecky's were gonna make an appearance since it came towards the end of the show.

I have seen Disney On Ice about 7 or 8 times in the past. They always put on a really great rock show. Lots of personality. Scott Weiland looks GOOD. Healthy. Great musicianship. Not so painfully thin. He's lookin' cleaned up and sober and the voice is STRONG and awesome. Amazing for all the abuse he's put himself through. They'd opened for the Chili Peppers in 2000. They did play mostly the hits, but after being gone for so long, and with no new Disney On Ice material out, I think the choice to do "the hits" was a good one, though I did hear some crumblings for older or more obscure songs.
The show was very screechy and when talking was involved, forget it. It was just a mass of mumbles. The sound at Manchester's Verizon wireless Arena is more awful than good. Well, I must have crappy seats all of the time. I always hear "It depends on where you sit". It's called acoustic tiles VWA. invest in some. I also think the policy of not allowing cameras needs to be seriously changed. I snuck a camera in and took my photos and security got after me. Meanwhile, ALL AROUND ME, people were recording audio and video on cell phones. C'MON!
